Routine Overview
How you start your morning shapes your whole day. Instead of rushing and reacting, a mindful routine sets you up to feel calm, focused, and intentional – even if you only have 10 minutes.
- Wake With Awareness
- Before grabbing your phone, take 3 slow breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Notice how your body feels. All we’re doing is noticing in this step.
- Hydrate
- Drink a full glass of water
- Gentle Movement
- Stretch, do a few easy yoga poses, or walk around the room to get blood flowing.
- Mindful Moment
- Spend 2 minutes journaling, meditating, or simply noticing your surroundings. Check in with how you feel in this moment, honor it, and allow the space for it to move through you. Self-love begins when you are willing to replace the constant “Need-tos” and “Really shoulds” with self-compassion; an internal hug that lets you know your reactions and feelings make sense and you are safe here.

- Write down one word or phrase for how you want to feel today (steady, curious, focused) an intention is the feeling behind your actions.
- Nourishing Start
- Choose a simple, balanced breakfast – even just fruit + protein — while avoiding screens.
